Last night Tonya called and wanted me to pick up Brooklyn and bring her to her house where Brandie and Shawn and Rachel were. It was my first time seeing Tonya in over two years and she looked very nice indeed considering the fact that she was a bit inebriated and high.
That’s Rachel on the couch and that’s Brook and Brandie posing with Tonya. Shawn was a bit loud but generally in a good mood. I noticed later that I had left a finger print on the lens and that made some pics look a bit blurry. I stayed about a half hour during that time Tonya called Steph an spoke to her about them getting together.

Saturday
Well today I hope to get some writing done on the topic for Monday. The topic is a bit of verse to pass along. Last night Brandie and Mike were over for a while. Brandie ended up going to a movie with her friend and Mike got picked up by his dad. I had given him a charger that I bought off of Ebay as a late birthday present. He is getting along better with Davonna right now. Here’s a couple of pics.
That’s Brandie on her phone while looking at a picture of Rob. Well I have to go and take her to work right now.

Martin Luther King
Today is a holiday that doesn’t seem like a holiday. We honor a great American on this day and my place of work gives us time and a half for working today but only government offices and schools are closed. There will be news stories about Mr. King tonight on the news but I wonder how many Americans really understand what Dr. King did for this country? He stood for non violent reform in the mold of Gandhi and Nelson Mandella. He was not a pacifist but a non violent activist. He stood in stark contrast to other leaders of the times who sought violent solutions to the freedoms sought. I honor him as a man of courage and conviction and who is worthy of a full holiday.
